How to Enroll

Thank you for choosing Walnut Bend Elementary as your school of choice. Where we are all in and we all win! 

To enroll at Walnut Bend Elementary: 

  • Verify that Walnut Bend Elementary is your zoned school using the School Finder tool. 
  • Collect and prepare the documents below to submit to the main office.
     

Required Documents for Enrollment

  • Child's Birth Certificate
  • Child's Immunization Record
  • Child's Social Security Card (If applicable)
  • Parent/ Guardian's Photo Identification
  • Proof of Address - Only a Lease Agreement or Utility Bill is accepted (Light, Water, or Gas Bill)

For Pre-K Applicants

  • Pre-K families must first apply for a seat using the School Choice Application
  • Proof of Income is required for enrollment

A child must be 3 or 4 years old on or before September 1 of a given school year.
 

For Kindergarten through 5th grade Applicants

  • Provide a record of current immunizations.
  • Provide the child's most recent report card. 
  • Walnut Bend Elementary will also request an academic transcript from your child’s previous school.

For Transfers (Not zoned)

  • Apply for a transfer online using the School Choice Application
  • Provide a record of current immunizations.
  • Provide the child's most recent report card. 
  • Walnut Bend Elementary will also request an academic transcript from your child’s previous school.
